Hand Wash

1. Fill a sink or basin with lukewarm water and add a small amount of mild detergent.
2. Place the durag in the water and gently knead it to ensure that the detergent is evenly distributed.
3. Let the durag soak for about 15 minutes, then rinse it thoroughly with cool water.
4. Gently squeeze out excess water, being careful not to wring or twist the fabric, which can damage it.
5. Lay the durag flat on a clean towel and roll it up to remove any remaining water.
6. Air dry the durag by laying it flat or hanging it up.

Machine Wash

• Place the durag in a mesh laundry bag to protect it from getting tangled with other clothing items.
• Set the machine to a gentle cycle with cold water and a small amount of mild detergent.
• Once the cycle is complete, remove the durag from the bag and gently squeeze out any excess water.
• Do not put the durag in the dryer, as high heat can damage the fabric.
• Lay the durag flat on a clean towel and roll it up to remove any remaining water.
• Air dry the durag by laying it flat or hanging it up.
